Cowboys join forces with Marvel super heroes

The Dallas Cowboys and Marvel Entertainment, LLC are creating apparel featuring Marvel super heroes in Cowboys’ team logos and jerseys.

The agreement allows the Cowboys to license Marvel’s super heroes and create co-branded merchandise called the Marvel/Dallas Cowboys collection. The collection will include T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, caps and onesies for infants, kids and adults.

The apparel will debut later this summer at sporting good retailers as well as the Cowboys Stadium and fan shops. The Cowboys are the only major sporting team to design, manufacture and distribute its own apparel through the Dallas Cowboys Merchandising arm.

"We are excited to team up with Marvel Entertainment to create such a unique line of apparel for our fans," Jerry Jones Jr., chief sales and marketing officer for the Cowboys, said in a statement. "We are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to energize our fans, and what better way than to combine our brand with some of the all-time great Super Heroes that everyone has grown up with."
