Spurs pick up Summer League sharpshooter Gary Neal - Once again the Spurs fly under the radar - San Antonio has agree to a three-year deal with Summer Leaguer Gary Neal.

Neismith Basketball Hall of Fame 2010 - The 1992 USA Basketball “Dream Team” will be inducted into the Class of 2010 in just a few weeks!

Thunder reward GM Presti with multi-year extension - Sam Presti has agreed to a multiyear contract extension to remain the general manager of the Oklahoma City Thunder. -Team chairman Clay Bennett announced the deal Thursday but did not reveal terms.

Lee Out for Team USA - New Warriors power forward David Lee injured his right middle finger (his non-shooting hand) in practice, further damaging the team’s stock of big men.

 

Lee still searching for first win in Rangers uniform - Lee has two nine-inning outings, but is still seeking his first win in Texas.

Lee's first Ranger win extends West lead - The Rangers began a seven-game homestand with a 3-2 win over the Angels on Thursday at the Ballpark in Arlington.

Astros add infielder Hernandez, reliever Figueroa - The Astros claimed infielder Anderson Hernandez and veteran reliever Nelson Figueroa off waivers Wednesday and plan to have them join the team Friday.

Twins, Cardinals, Phillies show interest in Oswald - The Minnesota Twins have shown interest in acquiring Astros righthander Roy Oswalt. The St. Louis Cardinals appear to have joined the contenders for Oswalt’s services, and the Philadelphia Phillies are a possibility.

 

Cowboys, Bryant agree to terms on five-year contract - The Dallas Cowboys agreed to terms with Dez Bryant on Thursday, making the receiver the first of this year's NFL first-round picks with a deal.  Bryant's five-year deal could be worth roughly $12 million total and includes more than $8.5 million in guaranteed money, NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported, citing a league source.
