Three Texas teams played tonight and only one came out a winner.

The Rockets lost to the Bobcats while the Mavs ended the Spurs win streak.

The last time the Mav's visited the Spurs at the ATT Center they were knocked out of the Playoffs. This time the Mavs ended the Spurs 12 game win streak by beating the Spurs 103 - 94.

Even without the services of Brendan Haywood, who was suspended for one game by Coach Carlisle an undisclosed violation of team rules, the Mavs turned to Ian Mahinmi and Alexis Ajinca who was activated for the first time this season to sub for Haywood.

Late in the 4th quarter the Mavs went on a 9-0 run giving them the lead for good. Even though Ginobili's two free throws broke the Spurs drought it wasn't enough.  The Mavs end  the Spurs’ consecutive wins streak and extending their own to four games.

Charlotte Bobcats defeat the Houston Rockets 99-98 with Gerald Wallace scoring 21 points along with 14 rebounds, Boris Diaw added 20 points and 10 boards Friday night to snap a two-game losing streak.

The Rockets Chase Budinger scored 19 points while Kevin Martin added 16, but they combined to shoot 12 of 32 from the field for the Rockets, who lost for the fifth time in six games as they play without the injured Yao Ming and Aaron Brooks.

The cold-shooting Rockets are having their own problems after their big lead early was erased.  Houston shot 42 percent, with Shane Battier 1-of-9 missed nine free throws to fall to 2-7 on the road.

Luis Scola added 16 points while Kevin Martin contributed 16 points in the loss.
