The last time the Mav's visited the Spurs at the ATT Center they were knocked out of the Playoffs. This time the Mavs ended the Spurs 12 game win streak by beating the Spurs 103 - 94.Even without the services of Brendan Haywood, who was suspended for one game by Coach Carlisle an undisclosed violation of team rules, the Mavs turned to Ian Mahinmi and Alexis Ajinca who was activated for the first time this season to sub for Haywood.
Late in the 4th quarter the Mavs went on a 9-0 run giving them the lead for good. Even though Ginobili's two free throws broke the Spurs drought it wasn't enough. The Mavs end the Spurs’ consecutive wins streak and extending their own to four games.
