Spurs beat the Heat in South Texas

Last night Lebron James and Chris Bosh played in the 1st qtr. James scored 12 points, Bosh scored 2 points and Dwayne Wade played 0 minutes due to injuring himself in the 1st pre-season game.

DeJuan Blair scored 13 points for the Spurs while Patrick Beverley had 11 points for the Heat.

Meanwhile the Spurs "Big Three" played but Coach Pop did rest them for most of the game.  Manu Ginobili wanted to see the other "Big 3" had but didn't have the opportunity.

According to the Associated Press Manu was quoted as saying “In a lot of teams, there are two All-Stars and really good players, so I want to see them with Dwyane, too. It’s going to be interesting to see how they adjust to each other,” Ginobili said.”It’s going to be really important for other players to make shots because they’re going to be open.”

Duncan, Ginobili and Parker were all on the floor during the opening of the 3rd quarter but before the whistle blew, Coach Pop substituted Duncan for Antonio McDyess and that was the last the fans saw of Duncan.

The Spurs outscored Miami 20-10 in the 4th qtr while the bench showed their defense was very defensive and very Spurs worthy.

Hopefully the next meeting between the two "Big 3's", back here in San Antonio, on March 4, 2011, everyone will be healthy and the fans can really see a good, solid basketball game.
