According to Major League Baseball (MLB) Game 2 of the American League Championship Series between the Rangers and Tigers was postponed on Sunday afternoon in advance of the 6:45 p.m. CT scheduled start time at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Rangers grounds crew chief Dennis Klein, citing a 90 percent chance of rain this evening, said the game would be rescheduled to a 3:19 p.m. CT first pitch on Monday afternoon.

Klein also said the weather was looking "beautiful" for Monday.
