USAB struggling vs Tunisia through first half - The USA Basketball team struggled mightily in the first half vs. Tunisia in the FIBA Championships, clinging to a surprisingly small 39-33 lead at halftime. Kevin Durant leads the team with nine points at the half, but the team looks out-of-sync. Many considered the USA to win this game by 30+ points, so the early struggles are very surprising. Coach K was expected to give many of the backup USA ballers lots of run in this game, but he may have to play his starters longer than expected until the USA can pull away. While the Nuggets have little power in preventing Carmelo from overshadowing their upcoming season with his indecisiveness, they can tell interested teams that they're not ready to discuss potential trade scenarios. In fact, they've already done that. It's safe to assume that the other 29 teams in the league have all called Denver since Aug. 16, when it was reported that Carmelo was likely done with the Nuggets.
